With the impulse of Informational Education and Lifelong Learning, Modern Distance Education (MDE) develops very quickly. However, MDE must guarantee its education effect if it wants keep going ahead rapidly and stably. As a kind of teacher of MDE, E-tutor plays many roles such as the organizer of discussion, the guider of learning, the supporter of emotion, the consultant of information and the answerer to students' opinion. Therefore, E-tutor has an effect on the quality of MDE. But, we can see from the questions that exist in the discussion of BBS that E-tutor must receive systematic training to promote their knowledge and skill in order to be competent for the job. And yet, we should answer the question of "what are the training contents". This paper seeks for the training content designed for E-tutor.The research on the training content designed for E-tutor includes: the research on the elements of the training content system, the research on the structure of the training content system and the research on the concrete training content based on the content system. Though the analyse and compare of the training content of six E-learning institutions home and abroad, and investigating on the spot, the paper puts forward the content system designed for E-tutor. And the content system is established in the fact of E-learning in our country. The elements of the content system are the knowledge of distance education, the knowledge of adult education, the roles of E-tutor, the operating method on the teacher flat and the online tutoring method and strategy. On the basis of the elements, the paper analyzes the structure of the content system through the Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) Method. Through analyzing the five elements of the content system one by one, the writer educes the concrete training content modules and then provides the concrete training content by collecting and clearing up the correlative materials.In order to find out the E-tutor's opinion of the training content, the writer puts the training content into the E-tutor training in E-learning College of South China NormalUniversity (SCNU). Through questionnaire and talking with E-tutor, the result proves that the training content is scientific, all-sided, pertaining and practical, and the structure of the training content is logical. The result indicates that E-tutor's attitude is positive.The paper puts forward the content system designed for E-tutor and the concrete E-tutor training content. And this is an attempt for the first time at home. However, there are deficiencies in this research, and there are prospective tasks waiting for us to continue study. |
