Facing the challenging of knowledge-based economy, the reform in education should emphasize on the development of the potential of the students, the ability of the students, and the development of the intelligence of the students. Therefore, Researching teaching method which emphasize problem resolving becomes the reform of geography teaching method .This research bases on the large quantity cultural heritage data, analyzes the development both in China and abroad , analyzes present condition of JinZhou City's senior high school geography researching teaching, from the world's development to research the development in China, and to know the whole nation's high school geography research teaching's present condition from the development in JinZhou City .We know the reform of research teaching develops very slow. The reason for this are: the reforming of the entrance exam to college and relevant evaluating system; book drawing up and the relevant teaching material, the education resources and conditions of our country. And lacking of teachers. Therefore, to promote the high school geography teaching, here providing the following suggestions for the geography teaching reform: 1.To improve the reform of the entrance exam to college, establish the perfect evaluation system; 2. Quicken the course establishment and the teaching material establishment, giving the teacher and the students enough time to do research work; 3. To change the teacher' s role and gradually realize researching teaching.
