The reform of middle-school Chinese education has been carried out forover 20 years, but the present situation is far from satisfactory. In this thesis,with my different experiences and all the problems that I have encounteredduring the reformation, I would call on to regain its originality as a normalChinese teacher.My thesis consists of 6 parts –the characters and the tasks of middle-schoolChinese education; the difficulties of middle-school Chinese education; theorigin of the difficulties –the weak points of traditional Chinese education; thetrials and exploration of educational reforms; new worries produced during thereformation; the breakthroughs needed for middle-school Chinese education.The first chapter is to introduce the characters and tasks of middle-schoolChinese education.The second chapter is to describe various dilemmas that middle-schoolChinese education has been faced with.The third chapter is to analyse the origin of the dilemmas –the weak pointsof traditional Chinese education, mainly concerning teaching materials andteaching methods.The fourth chapter is to illustrate how the educational circle has adoptedvarious trials and researches against the above-mentioned difficulties and weakpoints.The fifth chapter is to explain the new worries brought about by the trials ofclass reformation. It includes hyper correction, ignorance of basis, and theretarded evaluation system.Based on the precedent 5 chapters, the sixth chapter is to propose someideas and measures to resolve the problems during the educational reformation.
