The new teaching standard has regulated that mathematic history is an optional subject in the middle school. Students don't need to study mathematic history systematically but through teaching students some easy parts of contents by using vivid language so that to reveal the mathematic developing history, which will let students understand the important ideas and development on mathematics. Famous question of mathematics history is an excellent material, which is formulated within years of mathematics development. It impacts on mathematics development, application, teaching and learning. This kind of topic has important status and special effect in the fields of mathematic history and mathematic education history such as boosting the naissance of mathematic concepts and new methods, revealing new direction of mathematic application and providing positive effect and giant influence of mathematics education.How can we exert educational function of famous question on mathematic history and let students accept it with pleasure? The traditional teaching method is a kind of tedious preaches. It is better to let students find their own initiatives. The popular inquiry learning in the whole nation is a very good example for famous question of mathematics history.
