During the social transformation in our country, the wall between school and society has been removed with the development of science and wide use of inter-net. Moral education has no longer been studied without concerning various social factors. This paper viewed moral education as a part of social ecological system and proposed a plan for developing it by analyzing the relations between its various ecological factors and the effect to it. It consists of three parts. The first part is the basic theory. It mainly gives a definition of the ecology of moral education and compares it with other ecological concepts. Then the research value is illustrated through the angle of the requirements of theory and practice development. Its connotation and the division of ecological factors are also probed into. In the second part, the former theory is used. Present situation of economy, politics and culture is introduced. The foundation of market-oriented economy system and political reform bring both active and negative effects to people's moral quality. In cultural fields, multi-cultures coexist. Then the ecological imbalance is concluded, which makes moral education in trouble. The way of balancing social ecology is put forward in the third part. In economy, measures should be taken to narrow the gap between the rich and the poor, and standardize market order. In politics, we should strengthen our party's construction. In culture, with the instruction of socialist culture, the work of discarding the dross and selecting the essence is to be carried out in integration of Chinese traditional and western cultures. At the same time, the part of school also ought to be regulated. All in all, social transformation leads to the imbalance of moral education ecology system, which makes moral education in trouble. The way-out is to take measures from all aspects of the society, such as economy, politics, culture and schools to balance the ecology of moral education.
