This Research aims at finding out teachers' class management concepts and the difficulties they encounter in real life situations. It also analysis the factors affecting teachers' classroom management and investigate teachers' need for related courses and advanced studies, thus bringing up suggestions for the improvement of teachers' training program, education administration and also for other teachers' reference.In order to achieve this aim, I have adopted both document analysis and questionnaire investigation. Through analyzing related documents, the connotation of classroom management was first clarified; then deliberated the framework and edited the questionnaire "Investigation of the Secondary Class Teachers' Classroom Management Condition" . Class teachers from four schools in Macau were picked up for this research. There are 107 valid questionnaire samples. The information collected wasanalyzed with K. Pearson' s product-moment correlation, x~2 test, average mean percentage analysis and other methods.The result of the research is shown as follow: A.Concept of teachers classroom managementl.The secondary class teachers' classroom management concepts are fairly correct.2. The whole concept of the class teachers' classroom management does not change according to the characteristics of the individual, but does change under different the teaching environment.3. Usually teachers teaching a smaller class may have a more positive view in the aspect of usual management than the teachers who have larger classes.B. Classroom management difficulties that teachers encountered1.Classroom management is a great problem that Macau secondary classroom teachers encountered.2.Administration and education administration are the two aspects that teachers most persecute with in classroom management.3. The eight largest persecutions of the secondary classroom teachers in Macau are: "Drawing up a plan for classroom management" and"Managing sudden incidents" under administration management;"Expecting students to correct their homework" and "Enabling education activities to proceed smoothly" and "Allowing each student to participate in the education activity" , "Following up students' learning condition" , "Helping students who have slower progress" , etc. These all belongs to the "Dealing with misbehavior effectively" of usual administration aspect.4. The problems of the four aspects of administration, education, conventional practice and human relationships are highly related.5. The bigger / smaller the class size or structure of school is, the bigger the administration and education management problem will be.C. The others:1. Teachers' main persecutions of classroom management come from society, school, students and the teachers themselves.2.The results of classroom management further study activities are not remarkable.Based on the conclusion mentioned above, the suggestions are divided into four parts:l.The action taken the teachers themselvesTeachers should draw up a well-established management plan as accordance before taking process. Teachers should also constantly reflect on the classroom management measures so that s/he can find out the crux of the problems. S / he should also participate in- school oroutside school inspection and improving activities in order to learn more new management experiences and knowledge.2.Revolution of teacher training programThe related course and the teaching of pre-service teachers should be both theoretic and practical in order to solidify the basic knowledge and technique of student teachers. Improvement activities for the in-service teachers should also be arranged enthusiastically. The occasion, time, content and way of the activities should also fit the needs of individual teacher. Furthermore, hotlines should be established and employ expects and experienced teachers as guidance counsels to help teachers to settle their problems.3. Improving the function of school administrationSchool administrators reduce meaningless interference so that teachers have more space to develop their teaching thus reducing teachers' pressure in classroom administration. Suitable amount and suitable activities should be established to reduce the burden of teachers and students. The paper work of administration should also be simplified in order to save the teachers' time for managing administration and paperwork, so they can improve the relations and communication with parents and get cooperation and assistant form the parents4. Improving the education environmentReduce the class size and the school size to lighten teachers' education administration persecution. Increase the number of assistant to help teachers in their classroom management. Strengthen the promotion of parental education to elaborate the function of family education thus helping teachers in their classroom management.
