One of the best ways is doing scientific inquiry, that is, doing scientific inquiry in daily life.In this article, the author dealt with the relation between scientific inquiry and social life systematically, pointed out that explore is a natural demand of human beings, that life is inexhaustible resources of scientific inquiry, and that scientific inquiry is very important for students to learn how to learn although its efficiency is a little low. In the end, according to his life experience and academic level, author did scientific inquiry about the things around.As the factual examples of doing scientific inquiry, and as the elite of practice and innovation in the article, author did research about the motion of bicycle and made its power question clear. Author analyzed real springs' irregular extension and compression in rotating system and advanced first the spring's length formula suited to different conditions. Author did mono-molecule oil-membrane experiment aided to show the size of molecule many times, and found that the recognized value of the molecule was a little bigger, which then caused considerable error, and put forward a new recognized value. Author also changed fixed tube structure of traditional periscope and ignored system's demand of parallel mirrors, designed a new optical device named image-rotator, which could rotate imported image freely.My action of doing scientific inquiry shows that explore brings discovery, innovation and progress.
