The diabetes mellitus (DM) is a epidemic disease over the world. In China, there are morethan 400 muUion patients with DM. The type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) 's rate is around 97%.The main age range is 35-55 years old. The DM's complications are the most important factorsfor the patients' disabilities and death. So we must look for the proper methods to prevent andcure them. The physical activities' beneficial effects have been confirmed widely. The properexercise can prevent or delay the DM's complications, keep the body and mental in balance.Through reading the relative literature and track to the domestic relevant studies, we find that themost of their subjects are the retired patients. There are few relevant study reports about35-45years old male T2DM patients in China. At this age, the men's health means great to societyand their own family, but their life state is out of regular pattern extremely, all lack the essentialdaily exercise, the majority of them is overweight or obesity, these factors make them easy to getT2DM. The beginning of T2DM is the best period to implement the exercise treatment and worthfurther study. We notice that young patients have the same trend of giving up the dietmanagement. Meanwhile, a definite diagnosis of T2DM must low their quality of life and it is anvery important aspect that many studies had ignored. Object: we want design an exercise planmainly for 35-45years old male T2DM patients. Methods: Without diet management, we observethe effects of 12-week's walking and resistance exercise on 8 male T2DM patients, which mainage is 38 years old, all got T2DM diagnosis in last 6 months. Analysis the change of the fastingglucose, the glycosylated hemoglobin, the fat%, the weight, the body mass index, the exerciseability and the quality of life after 12-week's exercise. Hope to get a relatively proper exerciseplan for them. Results: Without diet management, the effects of 12-week's walking andresistance exercise on 8 male T2DM: ①The fasting glucose and the glycosylated hemoglobinlower evidently (P<0.05) . ②The fat% lower evidently (P<0.05) , the weight and the bodymass index keeps in a stable state. ③The exercise ability is enhanced greatly, they all got longermaintaining time (P<0.05) , higher walking velocity (P<0.05) , longer walking distance(p<0.001) and their resistance exercise's score increases greatly .④The patients' quality of lifeis enhanced greatly (p<0.001) . Conclusions: 12 weeks daily walking which aim is 53.13minand 4.44km and with the resistance exercise has a nice effect on the 35-45 years old male T2DMpatients①This plan can improve T2DM's symptom. ②Maintaining a better exercise ability. ③The quality of life and health state are enhanced greatly.
