The world history is a very important ingredient of the history courses in Middle school. During the course innovations af ;er the founding of the People' s Republic of China, the status of world history in the history courses in Middle school became unbalanced, it expressed obvious weak trend day by day. Under the big background of economy globalization, this kind of phenomenon is not advantageous for us to understand and hold the social history of China; it' s also disadvantageous for us to catch the problem of world history opportunities and improve it to the height of tactic for developing our nation on the foundation that catching and holding the universal rule of developing the social history of world. So, the importance and impendence of studying and researching the world history become very evident. Rebuilt the status of world history in the history courses in Middle school is the responsibility of the national and all levels education administrative departments, teachers and every member of the whole society. The world history in the Middle school was given the new task.This article is composed of five parts. First of all is the preliminary remark, it generally discuss the actuality and meaning of research; the first part of the straight matter discuss the reasons why the world history become peripherization; the second part discuss the disadvantageous which brought by the peripherization of the world history; the third part discuss how to rebuilt the status of the world history in the history courses in Middle school; the last part is the tag, it brings forward the importance for developing the country and nation by studying the world history.
