The integration of IT and mathematics teaching in middle school. In the 21st century, Information Technology (IT) which includes multi-media technology and network technology, is changing the circulating and developing models in every fields in society. It changed people's styles of live and study. It becomes the important problem to bring up the students which have information attainment and the spirit of innovation. So many countries in the world have paid attention to the education of information technology. By the development of education conception and instructional technology, more and more researches focus on how to integrate IT into curriculums forwardly. They try to use IT as the tools of promoting students'independent study. Therefore, the researches of integrating IT into curriculums are built. In our country, the utilization of IT in school is only rest on first stage, and the function of IT hasn't been brought into play, so it is very important to research the principles and models of integration of IT and curriculums deeply. Based on analyzing the significance and background of integration of IT and mathematics teaching, this paper discussed how to integrate IT into middle school's mathematics teaching by practices, and the integration by studying the documents and literature and using the tool of "the Geometry's palette"to give examples. This paper has five parts. In the first part, the significances of integration of IT and mathematics teaching are introduced. In the second part, it introduced correlative concept of integration and general situation in our country and others. In the third part, several study theories are introduced and analyzed the instruct functions in integration of IT and mathematics teaching. It also discussed the principles and methods of integration. In the fourth part, it gave practical cases of integrating IT into geometry curriculum, math concept and math questions. In the last part, it summarized the problems which have to be paid attention to in the process of integration.
