Traditional teaching patterns only attach importance to the inculcation of the knowledge to the students and neglect the development of the students'abilities, qualities and personalities, which doesn't adapt to the need of the education with the development of the modern economic society. The tenet of the hierarchical teaching pattern is to slip the leash of the traditional teaching patterns and establish the new educational philosophy including people oriented education, teaching students according to their aptitude, facing the whole students, respecting their personalities, promoting their abilities and all-around development. This teaching pattern sets up different teaching objectives based on the differences and realities of individual and adopts different teaching process, contents, methods and evaluation to make all the students obtain the education according with their own condition and characters and consequently result in a broadly educated students based on their own foundation. This paper is studying the theory and practice of the hierarchical teaching pattern in teaching physics in the technical secondary schools, directed by the developing trends of modern educational philosophy and teaching patterns integrated with the author's teaching practice of many years, and thoroughly analyzes and evaluates the experimental results scientifically and comprehensively through considerable investigation, research, statistics and analyses. So it is the effective way to carry out the education for all-around development.
