Educational 'narrative study" refers to the educational study in ways of narration. This way not only gives us a very challenging field, but also guarantees the validity and valuability of the study, and helps to better the quality of teachers and school principals.I use two ways to study it: one is material-reading way, introducing the study way of , describe how he discover clarify and solve problems;the other is to use Xi-gui Li as a sample and analyze how he grows up by using "narration".Through analyzing the experiences of two excellent principals, I conclude that: the preconditions of "Narration" are to better ways to comment on school principals;and put weight on the "Narration" of educational activities in order to Suhomlinski educational thoughts;stich to the principals which prefer "small examples" to "big examples", prefer "concrete examples" to "invented examples", prefer "true examples" to "false examples";divide studying process into three steps which are spot works, reading materials, study materials;auto biography and sample-studying are the methods which are often used. At last in the article, "narration" should be the first -recommended way in school -oriented research;create studious atmosphere in order to guide teachers to conduct "narration" research;to give appropriate comments to Narration and pay attention to the feedbacks. I strongly recommend to set up new belief to active life "Narration" in a higher level."Narration" is playing a more and more important role in the teacher's and principal's professionalization. It is also very necessary for educators to take a step torwards "narration".
