At the beginning of 21st century, with the rapid development of informationtechnology and advent of internet era, great changes have taken place in our society,in which our life and working style have undergone complete changes. As the greatdevelopment of information technology have brought richer and accumulatedknowledge, elementary courses with an emphasis on inputting knowledge are beingchallenged. It has been recognized that one of the necessary premises of reformingcourses is to build up a relevant evaluation system and working style. Hence, reformon course evaluation has become a very important part of new course reforms in ourcountry, as well a focus in education and other circles in our society. It has been putforward to build an evaluation system for enhancing students' development inprogram on elementary educational course reform (trial), that is, evaluation should notconstrain to students' academic achievements, but to develop their all-roundedpotential by having a good command of their needs, and helping them knowthemselves properly and build up confidence. Educational function of evaluation hasbeen made most of so as to enable students to get further development.Under the drive of implementing nation-wide quality education, Guangzhoueducation bureau set about the teaching design and implementation at the third phasewith developing teaching evaluation study as the subject, one of the main tasks ofwhich is developing student evaluation. This activity, on the one hand, is acontinuation of the previous two phases, on the other hand, a necessity to adapt toquality education, especially the start and implementation of another course reform.With the use of new textbooks, it is difficult for teachers to evaluate students in aconflict between new concept and traditional evaluation system during the process ofimplementing new concept into new course standards. To solve this problem have toreform the student evaluation system. This thesis aims at exploring the theories andmethods of carrying out developing student evaluation in mathematic teaching injunior middle school.This thesis can be divided into four parts. The first part is about the backgroundand current situations of this study. The necessity and urgency of carrying out studentevaluation reform has been discussed from the following three aspects: a new conceptfrom examination education to quality education, review and analysis on currentsituations of student evaluation and concept of new course reform, in addition to thesummery of development trend of developing evaluation reform in all countries of theworld and general study of developing student evaluation in our country. The secondpart is about the theories and significance of this study. Developing student evaluationtakes the multi-intellect theory, Construction and research study theory as its support.These theories provide mathematic education evaluation with new angle of view andmethods, and is if great inspiration to developing student evaluation. The third part isthe main part of this thesis. It has been first discussed that four principles have to beobeyed when implementing developing student evaluation including self-participationprinciples, success-encourage principles, cooperation-communication principles andprocess-developing principles. Second, assuming on implementing developingevaluation in new and review lessons has been put forward. In a new mathematiclesson, great importance has been attached from evaluation to results in the past toevaluation to learning process with comments, process notes, multi-scoring learningability plan and so on. Pay attention to cultivate student ability to ask and solvequestions, especially the ability to ask questions. Students will get development byevaluating their ability to cooperate and communicate in a group. In a review lesson,students will be introduce to construct knowledge system making use of the learningof five phases to improve their summarizing, attributive and categorizing abilities.The last part is the phase summary of education experiment.The new thinking of this thesis lies in analyzing the concept of developingstudent evaluation from theories, and in light of the successful experiences ofeducation scholars on student evaluation reform, reform on new course evaluation hasbeen put into practice and enable students get rounded development on mathematics,thinking ability and values through giving practical suggestions to new and reviewlessons on mathematics.
