Comprehensive Chinese Langua. & Lit. study is a significant part of the new curriculum reform. Currently, for the lack of systematic training, it is a common phenomenon that teachers are perplexed about comprehensive Chinese Langua. & Lit. study to the extent of blind imitation. The present research accordingly approaches this problem from three perspectives of teachers'realization, behavioral mode and knowledge base with methods of questionnaire and field research. To be more specific, the writer makes survey questionnaire and analyzes teaching cases, exploring the causes of the problem. It is found that the reason lies in the imperfection of the theoretical system, the failure of sufficient training and directing from the concerning section and the insufficiency of the teachers'professional quality. To solve this problem, the strategy for teachers'training is proposed: a. to set up a system for the study of theories concerning comprehensive study of Chinese Langua. & Lit. and ignite subject-oriented research in which teachers participate so as to raise the teachers'theoretical level; b. to initiate a comparative study in pedagogic and sample teaching, while concentrating on the exploration of the field "process assessment"so as to direct teachers'behavioral mode in their actual teaching; c. to uncover the teachers'potentials and elevate their synthetic professional quality in teaching by way of stressing on the idea of life-long learning.
