The utilitarianism is much more outstanding for the contemporary education, but it is far away from human abundance and perfection. Considering the value orientation of contemporary education, expansion of humanistic spirit should be a basic target that our education ought to pursue. Therefore it is not only necessary but also righteous to permeate humanistic spirit in biology teaching for bringing up students' humanistic spirit.The main purpose of this thesis research is to construct the aims of permeating humanistic spirit in biology teaching in classroom, to seek for the bonding points between the senior high school's biology teaching material and the permeation of humanistic spirit, to design and practice the teaching case of permeating humanistic spirit which can provide some ideas of theory and practice for permeating humanistic spirit in biology teaching. In view of this, this paper adopted the method of literature research, questionnaire survey and educational experimentation.The result as follows:1. The definition of connotation of humanistic spirit is the base of research in permeating humanistic spirit in biology teaching. By inquiry into the different viewpoints for content of humanistic spirit, the connotation of which is defined. At the same time, the author constructs the aims of humanistic spirit in the biology teaching, combing the character of biology.2. The questionnaire of students and teachers showed it is necessary and urgent to permeate humanistic spirit in biology teaching.3.It is a key to hold well the material of humanistic spirit contained in the teaching material for permeating humanistic spirit in teaching .The author analyzes humanistic spirit both in language and illustration of the senior high school's new biology teaching material prepared by People Educational Press, as well as the revelation on permeating humanistic spirit in biology teaching .The author explores the points of penetration between every section of the senior highschool's biology teaching material 《Biologyl:molecule and cell》 and the permeation of humanistic spirit, which provide material for biology teaching .4. The teaching case design is a bridge from ideas of permeating humanistic spirit to practice. The author does the case design and puts forward some principles and strategies for how to permeate humanistic spirit in biology class. On the basis, the author designs two concrete teaching cases.5. It has been proved practically that it is possible to permeate humanistic spirit in biology class and the implement of the teaching case design is effective. However, we also see that it is a long-term process affected by many aspects to bring up the humanistic spirit of students.
