Inquiry study will be the fundamental mode of teaching in the future. Asthe extending of inquiry study in language teaching,inquiry teaching ofreading has the vital role to enhance student's the esthetic appeal andthe comprehension of the national outstanding culture. Combining own practice,this article attempts from the language teaching of reading at present toanalyse the basic connotation,theory rationale and process of inquiryteaching of reading, analyse the superiority and the question in the practicalapplication, discuss the essential way to implement inquiry teaching ofreading.This article divides into four parts:First part: the connotation, the rationale and the time significance ofthe inquiry teaching of reading. First, discussed the basic concept of theconnotation about inquiry teaching of reading at present, and carried onthe preliminary elaboration from the reading main body, the reading process,the teacher's instructive function. Next, starting with the humanism,constructive principle, dialogue theory,and multilateral intelligenttheory, this article analysed the rationale of inquiry teaching of readingand the reason of having the formidable vitality. Finally, elaborated thefunction in the strengthening the student's language accomplishment andesthetically education , pointed out it's the necessity of languageeducational reform.Second part: the teaching characteristic of inquiry teaching of reading.It is the scientific whole study idea established in the modern studyrationale . It takes the student as the main body of the cognition ,development, and creation,it is the process of the question, inquiry andinnovation, the process to enhance effectively reading ability, the processof the experience and dialogue. It has the opening system.Third part: The design and implementation of inquiry teaching of reading.As the best reading way,inquiry teaching of reading is not mature, thisarticle attempts to carry on the implication and unit process of inquiryteaching of reading with own practice , so to establish a way which peoplecan operate. First,pointed out the basic process of inquiry teaching ofreading: the instruction link before reading,the preparation link, the core,and the achievement demonstration and so on. Next, designed the best way ofinquiry teaching of reading -inquiry teaching of reading by network, dividedinto three implementation stages: Propose the question stage, the datacollection and the text inquiry stage, the exchange and demonstrationstage.Conclusion partial: Some thinks about inquiry teaching of reading. Becauseinquiry teaching of reading just started, in the practice process ,it islimited by student's experience, text difficulty, physical conditions,but its function does not have substitutes, the development potential is huge.Looks over the full text, this article in the foundation which thepredecessor studied, discussed the vital role of inquiry teaching of readingin the reading teaching from the theory and practice angle, tried to havesome function to the promotion and implementation of inquiry teaching ofreading.
