21st century is a time of knowledge and economy which characterizes the innovation and application of knowledge. Education should be developed first because of the fury competition of colligated national power and the swift development of technology. The key to reconstruct our nation is to advance the quality education completely and carry out the "Technology to develop our country". Therefore, a new round of reformation of the course of elementary education was started up at the beginning of the new century under the direct leadership of the Party and State Department, whose basic idea is "to reconstruct our country and to develop each pupil".With the development of the reformation of the course of the elementary education, evaluation is becoming the problem which is concerned for by the operator of theory and practice and the whole society as well. We find it very prominent to guarantee the totality, objectivity and the equality.Based on the theory of new course, this article points out the problems in the current evaluation of the pupils' study in our country and emphasizes the necessity of available evaluation of pupils' math study, illustrates its meaning and function; it sets forth the evaluation content, evaluation method and the thought of design; it studies meticulously the evaluation of behavior which represents the following directions of the evaluation reform, such as class observation, math diary, investigation and experiment, development note, etc; it constructs evaluation system in terms of evaluation theory, evaluation aim and evaluation practice; it shows evaluation theory of multi-aim and multi-method evaluation. Not only the result of the pupils' study should be paid attention to, but their process, level and their sensibility and attitude as well to help them understand themselves and build their confidence.The math study evaluation to accelerate the pupils' development is to know their math study experience entirely and accelerate their study. It's not to give them the place in their colony but to make them try for further actual development ant taste the process of the production and development of math knowledge to study math self-confidently and actively.
