Rebuild The System Of General Physics Experiment Teaching Materials

The current teaching material system for common physics experiment in our country can be generally classified into two kinds, which base on different subjects and levels respectively.《Common Physics Experiment》edited by Yang Shu-wu and《College Physics Experiment》edited by Wu Yong-hua, Huo Jian-qing, etc, which have been elected as the primary reference book in our department, are the outstanding representations of the two kinds of system. Through measuring and analyzing the physics experiment ability of the students in our department, we find that the physics experiment ability of the students has been enhanced after the learning of common physics experiment. This indicates that these two kinds of teaching materials contribute to fostering the physics experiment ability of the students greatly. But also we find that after the learning of common physics experiment, there are some disparities in the physics experiment ability of the students.In order to exert the fostering function of common physics experiment and improve the physics experiment ability of the students, we absorb the merits of these two kinds of teaching material systems, rearrange common physics experiment on the basis of measuring a certain physics variable, reconstruct the framework of the teaching material system of common physics experiment.This paper is organized as follow. In section 1, we review the developmental process of the teaching material of common physics experiment briefly. And we analyze and compare the two kinds of system of two versions of teaching materials of common physics experiment objectively.In section 2, in order to find out the effect which the course of common physics experiment contributes to the physics experiment ability of the students, we measure the physics experiment ability of freshmen and juniors in physics department of our school.
