Key Technology Of Component-based Adaptive Learning Support System

Adaptive learning, supported by high technique, is a learning method during which learners are highly personlized. Different from the autonomous model of students in the traditional web class, the key problem solved by the adaptive learning system is how to support personalized learning suitable for characteristic of the students by technology. However, it has so many difficulties in realizing adaptive learning, system, and it can't satisfy lots of instructional design needs ,subjects and knowledge. So, a software platform is to be developed, component-based adaptive learning system, which is generative, dynamic, reused and portable, and facilitates teachers to use in different instructional models and instructional situation, for the sake of improving quality of teaching and learning by supporting adaptive learning in the information technology environment.The paper illustrates the technical methods of constructing an adaptive learning system by component techniques, and analyzes all kinds of key techniques., provides design model. In the paper, one of the key points of constructing an adaptive learning system by component techniques is whether to update technical objects to business objects, to update technical components to business components. During the process of component development, the following issues should be done, firstly, analyzing the problem from the viewpoint of business component, then from the viewpoint of technique, and the better system is designed and implemented, in consequence, the first problem solved is to partition system module, and to implement internal logic, namely, the implement of internal logic and the design of component interface. It gives a case of componentized adaptive learning system based on Personalized Courseware Generation System in the paper.
