With the deepening of the application of cognitive science and artificial intelligencetechnology in distance education, there is growing emphasis on the impact of individualdifferences in the network environment for network learning outcomes of learners, and toefforts to explore ways and means of information technology support individualized.Adaptive learning system through the learning styles of learners, the level of knowledgeand cognitive factors such as comprehensive measurement and analysis, for creatingpersonalized learning environment. By the author of adaptive learning systems relevantliterature review, draw some existing problems in adaptive learning system, and from whichthe two aspects were studied. First, part of the high reproducibility of research results, andmost focus on the student model, cognitive research for most simply described; Second,adaptive learning system with a combination of primary and secondary schools too fewspecific courses. Based on the above thinking, I believe that at the time of diagnosis oflearning adaptive learning system should not only focus on learning styles diagnosis, butalso attach importance to the diagnosis of cognitive ability, especially cognitive diagnosisbased on specific disciplines should be given with sufficient attention.This article is based on combining specific disciplines to study the students’ cognitiveabilities and better serve it on adaptive learning systems.First proposed cognitive diagnosis model, in order to diagnose the students’ cognitiveability, you must have a scientific diagnostic methods and improved diagnostic tools. Learnnow mature in terms of diagnosis,"successive approximation" conduct this research. Toverify the validity of the method, the author of the elementary school mathematicscurriculum ontology analysis, combined with a specific section of first grade elementaryschool mathematics curriculum this method empirical research on the first-hand dataobtained were analyzed, validated. And build a theoretical model of adaptive learningsystem under ideal conditions, the focus of this model is the ability to diagnose students’cognitive abilities, better application of this method to being adaptive learning systems.
