The course reform of basic education advocates student's participating in probing into study voluntarily. Probing into the activity scientifically has much value in science studies. Students can study science during the "doing science "progress in which they can combine scientific knowledge with observation, reasoning and thinking, and obtain scientific understanding movingly. In my opinion, we should pay special attention to two key elements which are putting forward issue, supposition and assumption in probing learning. And some scholars' research in training the ability of putting forward the question, supposition and assumption is relatively deepened abroad, while the research of domestic scholars lacks systematic summary and studies with the real examples.This research combs relevant documents and materials about asking a question, guessing and supposing, analyses the influences which probe into these two key elements in science probing theoretically. Besides, it also investigates and analyses the current situation to students. This research put forward one's own idea of cultivating the ability of middle school students' putting forward the question and guessing and supposing on this basis , and put in order and design the corresponding teaching cases.
