Language is the result of human society development to a certain stage, which develops and enriches continuously with the development of human society. Network language (not the network computer BASIC) is a kind of interpersonal communication language applying to network environment, which emerged from and grew up with the fast development of Internet in the end of the 20th century and at the beginning of the 21st century. As an organic part of human language, Network language is still in a developing stage, which is enriching gradually with the popularization and development of Internet.The emerging of Network language has brought great influence to the education idea, viewpoint and mode of traditional language education. How to define Network language? What is the composing mode, emerging causation and of it? What influence it has produced to the traditional language? How to standardize and develop it? These are all the issues need to be discussed.The thesis includes three parts:Part I: Analyze the inherence of connotation of Network language, the composing mode of network words and expressions, the causation and characteristic of Network language emerging, to make readers have better understanding of Network language.Part II: The influence of Network language to language teaching. As western philosopher said: all the society progress has one common character, that is: the left hand throws a sheaf of golden wool to human kind and the right hand stealthily takes the things possessed by human kind. The positive influence of network language to the language teaching includes: cultivate language ability, change language teaching concept, and improve language teaching methods. The negative influence of network language to the language teaching includes: influence to language system, disorderly influence, coarse-grained influence and non-standard language influence.Part III: The standardization and development of network language.
