With the coming of the new era of knowledge economy, it's an inevitable task to train talents of light quality with all-round ability, esp. that of creativity and practical application. The teaching of mathematics and physics, as the base of all natural sciences, is bound to take on the responsibility. However, the teaching of mathematical modeling, a hot topic in today's mathematics teaching, serves to break the ice of a new type of mathematics teaching, in the meanwhile, helps to break through the traditional math teaching. It appeared a bit late in our high school teaching, and has not been popularized, but is certainly to be emphasized in the second-round curriculum reform.Here, I'm aiming at the propelling strategy for research courses, based on scientist paradigm, and the philosophy of 2nd round curriculum reform. Through teaching practice, we' re looking for an ideal practical curriculum model, suitable for the development of high school students.The propelling strategy studied here follows a huge amount of education theory and aims to set up a proper curriculum modeling for both teachers and students to adjust their philosophy and ability, under the guidance of action research. It focuses on the following 3 parts:· Transformation of paradigm in the classroom of school-based research curriculum: The key to teaching reform is to change students' study method. An important research theme has to be that students are led and organized to do research and learn to be cooperative in study.· Teachers turn from being authorities experts to studying and experiencing , laying emphasis on teachers' double control ability so that teachers may catch students' special thinking behavior and do analysis on the abilities to compare, to compensate and to operate evaluation system.· A re-built strategy of students' cognitive balance, the transference of students' ability, the emotional experience and the share in harvest of students.
