The "General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)" pointed out:It is necessary to focus on the integration of disciplines to improve students' ability to discover problems,analyze problems and apply mathematics to solve practical problems.Mathematical models are the bridge between mathematics and the external world and apply mathematics.As an important form of real life,through the implementation of the core literacy of mathematical modeling,on the one hand,it can strengthen students' use of mathematical models and accumulate experience in mathematical practice;on the other hand,it can also enhance students' innovative spirit and practical ability.Therefore,studying the content of mathematical modeling in mathematics textbooks is of greater significance.This research adopts the literature method,content comparison method,and statistical method.It is for the People's Education Version A(Compulsory One,Compulsory Two,Optional Compulsory One,Optional Compulsory Two)and Xiangjiao Version(Compulsory One,Compulsory Two,Optional Compulsory)1.Optional and compulsory.2.Comparing the mathematical modeling content of the function,geometry and algebra in the new high school mathematics textbooks,mainly to solve the following problems:(1)The teaching materials of the People's Education A and Hunan Education Edition are in function,geometry and algebra.What are the similarities and differences in the distribution and characteristics of some mathematical modeling content?(2)What are the similarities and differences in the distribution and characteristics of mathematical modeling topics in the function,geometry,and algebra sections of the two editions of the textbooks?In the part of function,geometry and algebra,the analysis framework of this research includes three dimensions:context,presentation,and modeling process.By comparing the mathematical modeling content in the two sets of textbooks,this research draws the following conclusions:Function part:(1)In the real situation,the actual background of the mathematical modeling content of the two editions of the textbooks has a wide range of sources,involving many fields.(2)In terms of presentation methods,both the PEP A and Hunan Educational textbooks contain various presentation methods such as problem scenarios,examples,exercises,etc.,which reflects the infiltration of mathematical modeling content into each chapter and is presented in the form of exercises.The proportion is the largest.(3)In the modeling process,the two editions of the textbooks pay more attention to the solution of practical problems;the presentation of data analysis is diversified,and about half of the modeling content has a data analysis process;the mathematical modeling content does not refer to mathematical constructions.Every step of the modeling process is carried out,and there are some shortcomings in model checking and model correction,especially in model correction.Geometry and Algebra:(1)In the real situation,both editions of the textbooks pay more attention to the integration of disciplines,use mathematics to solve some practical problems in other disciplines such as physics and chemistry,and also pay attention to the problems related to people's lives.Something is missing in the situation.(2)In terms of presentation methods,the Hunan Education Edition textbooks do not have questions presented in the form of questions.The presentation methods of the PEP A version are more diverse.In addition to exercises,examples and exercises,it also involves observation,inquiry,and thinking.Module.(3)In the modeling process,the two editions of the textbooks are mainly based on the introduction of mathematical models;some of the sample questions involve model checking,but in general,the proportion is relatively small,and the two models are revised.Edition textbooks are missing;focus on the process of data analysis,reflecting the idea of "combination of number and shape".Mathematical modeling topics:The modeling topics of the two editions of the textbooks are all based on real situations and have experienced a complete mathematical modeling process.Based on the results of the research,suggestions for textbook compilation are put forward:both editions of textbooks should increase the integrity of mathematical modeling content,set open-ended questions,and give students more room for thinking;Hunan education edition textbooks should appropriately add observations in the geometry and algebra.Mathematical modeling content of presentation methods such as,thinking,and inquiry;enrich the mathematical modeling content of geometry and algebra.At the same time,suggestions for the use of teaching materials are put forward:thoroughly understand the teaching materials,understand the design intent of the teaching materials;enrich the teaching materials and use them creatively.
