On the basis of a series of preparations, the study compiles the Questionnaire of Teacher's Job Satisfaction in Senior High School. Then the researcher selects 353 teachers from 8 senior high schools in Jiangsu, to investigate the actuality of teacher's job satisfaction. Furthermore, the study goes for single interview with some teachers, in order to explain the study result more reasonably.By comprehensive investigation and data analysis, the study draws following conclusions:(1) On the whole, the teacher's job satisfaction in senior high school is not high in Jiangsu. The leadership & management, organization climate, working stress, macroscopic policy, job itself, social approval, return from work, etc. affect the teacher's job satisfaction.(2) As to teacher's Job Satisfaction in senior high school, there is distinct difference between them who are in south of Jiangsu and those who are in north of Jiangsu; The difference doesn't exist between key senior high school and common school.(3) The teacher's job satisfaction exists distinct difference among gender, age, length of service, post and the title of a technical post.(4) The reason which teacher intent on teaching doesn't affect his/her job satisfaction.Finally, the study gives some advices to enhance the teacher's job satisfaction inJiangsu. Including improving the education policy, strengthening science & democracy in leadership and management, bettering working condition, advancing teacher's treatment, increasing their the training chance, reinforcing self-motivation.
