The study of teacher burnout has aroused the interest of both researchers and practitioners since the concept was first defined and explored by H.J. Freudenberger in 1974. The theories about teacher burnout are comparatively mature, but empirical researches are still lacked. In order to remedy the defect of the past study, we take one school as a base. This study based on the investigation of 172 teachers of No.17 middle school in Dong Ying City of Shan Dong province. The results suggest as follows:(1) The level of teacher burnout is serious. The depersonalization and exhaustion is outstanding the other three (personal self-unconfident and health etc.). The job pressure of teachers is serious. Teachers do not satisfy the support that comes from social, school and students.(2) The teachers of different age, academic, teaching age and subject have not remarkable difference on the teachers. The teachers of different sex, school, academic and subject have not remarkable difference on pressure. The teachers of different school, age and working age have not different on satisfaction about the job's support. The teachers of different sex, and the titles of technical of are ex,posts are significantly different on teacher.The middle school teachers' burnout of Dong Ying City of correlates with the teachers' pressure and the teachers' satisfaction about support...
