Teaching motivation, the psychological dynamics that propels the teachers to actively involve themselves in the teaching activities, motivating, maintaining and regulating the teacher's behavior, is embodied in their enthusiasm, attitude and behavior in teaching. As the internal force to drive the kindergarten teachers to conduct their teaching activities, teaching motivation functions as the decisive and regulatory force, whose appropriateness and intensity directly or otherwise affects the teacher's attitude, the teaching content, the application of teaching principles, the choice of teaching approaches and innovations in teaching so as to have immediate bearings on the teaching effects and teacher's competence. Children rely strongly on and are easily suggested by adults. Therefore, appropriate and mild teaching motivation of the teachers will surely generate eagerness of the children to participate in teaching activities and their incentive to learn, influencing their learning motivation. Kindergarten teachers, the primary resources in the cause of children education, who directly participate, organize, execute and assess the education activities of children, is the most critical taskforce and guarantee of children education. As one of the most important factors that affect the teaching competence of the teachers, teaching motivation has profound bearings on children education and other education causes as well. Hence, it is necessary for us to probe into the teaching motivation of the kindergarten teachers.The thesis falls into three parts. Part I deals with the important effects of teaching motivation on children education.
