As one of the ways to effectively promote the development of teachers,motivation are often used in kindergarten management.During the investigation,it was found that the kindergartens generally had invalid incentives,that is,the motivation effect did not have real feedback on the individual teachers.One of the reasons for this problem is that the kindergarten managers failed to truly understand the needs of the teachers and targeted them.Motivation preference is a kind of variable that distinguishes individual differences.Understanding the characteristics of kindergarten teachers' motivation preferences has a positive impact on kindergarten managers' better motivation management.This study used questionnaires and interviews to study motivation preference as stable and persistent individual differences.Firstly,using the Work Preference Inventory as a research tool,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 591 kindergarten teachers in Henan Province to analyze and summarize the characteristics of kindergarten teachers' motivation preference.Secondly,based on the research results and in-depth interviews with some teachers,the discussion on the influence of kindergarten teachers motivation preference factors;Finally,this study provides kindergarten managers with motivation management advice based on motivation preference.This study found that:1.Kindergarten teachers' internal and external motivation are at a moderately high level.2.The level of internal motivation preference in kindergarten teachers is higher than the level of external motivation preference.The four sub-dimensions are ranked from high to low: “find pleasure in work” preference level > “Enjoy the challenge” preference level > “Seek recognition” preference level >“ Expect reward ” level.3.Kindergarten teachers of different genders are different in the “Enjoy the challenge”,and male teachers enjoy higher levels of challenge than female teachers.4.Kindergarten teachers of different ways of hiring are different in the “Expect reward”.Kindergarten teachers of government employees expect higher levels of reward than kindergarten employees5.Different teachers of different kindergarten property have different external motivation preferences and “expect reward”.The external motivation preference level and expected rewards of privatekindergarten teachers are higher than those of public kindergarten teachers.
