The physics concept is an essence that embodies a concentrated reflection of the physics phenomena and processes. It is the cornerstone of the physics world. The formation of a scientific physics concept is the major premise and the basis for the command and application of physics. In fact, the physics concept is the foundation for the way of thinking scientifically. The process of analysing, solving physics problems and choosing the physics laws and formulas is the process of making use of a series of physics concepts to carry on thinking, judgement and inference. It is known to all that the physics laws and formulas are all set out by the concepts and tested by experiments and reasonable thinking. What they reflect is the internal relationship between the concepts in the process of physics.Therefore, strengthening the teaching of physics concepts is the key for students to grasp the knowledge of physics and develop abilities in physics processes. It is also an important link of physics teaching.In light of the new curriculum, this writer is trying to take the best from the traditional teaching methods before the rational subversion of the old teaching by modern teaching theories, such as constructionism and effective teaching. This writer studies the senior high physics concepts from the perspectives of philosophy, history, and comparison. This writer is also making efforts to set up the modern course under the framework of the "Effective Teaching of Physics Concepts at Senior High." Meanwhile, the writer also wants to build a bridge between" the education for all-round deveopment" and " the education for tests".
