The teaching of physical conception is the foundation of physics teaching. It’s also the most basic skill for high school teachers. However, it’s a completed process to form a physical conception. Therefore, how to help the students, based on the level of their thinking ability quality, form the correct physical conception is the most important task for the high school physics teacher.Logic is science about studying the form of the human mind. Formal logic is the basis of logic, which mainly studies the structure of thinking. One of the main purposes of physics teaching is the development of the thinking way of student. Therefore, knowledge of formal logic and physics knowledge is inextricably linked. Secondary school teachers learn the knowledge of formal logic to enhance their logical thinking ability, to avoid appearing logic errors in the teaching, to deepen their understanding of physics knowledge. In addition, teachers learn appropriately the knowledge of logic to bring up thinking ability of students in the teaching and to correct the error of logic of students. Students learn some logic to help to learn physics and other disciplines.Based on the characteristics of the physical conceptions, this paper shows how to help the students grasp the conceptions in terms of physics. Afterwards, this paper shows the difficulties in teaching besides some problems worth paying attention to and suggests some solutions.
