The thesis investigates 170 middle school teachers in North of JiangSu Province using the measurement of MBI (Maslach Burnout Inventory), the results show that the levels of job burnout is not very serious, but there are also some teachers experiencing burnout. The results also show that some teachers experiencing more emotional exhaustion are female, work in the key school, and have 2-3 years or 11-20 years of teaching. Devoiced teachers have high scores in the dimension of depersonalization. The causes of job burnout are various in North of JiangSu Province, the most significant ones among those are social environment, occupational characters, instructional scene and personalities. People, family, organization and society pay tremendous cost for the existence of job burnout. It demands immediate actions. Finally, the article gives the measures to ameliorate job burnout.
