| Teachers’ burnout has seriously affected teachers’ professional construction and the improvement of education quality.For the purpose of improving teaching quality,some secondary vocational schools merely emphasize strict management on teachers but neglect their mental health and a wide occupational burnout situation in secondary vocational schools exists and staff’s quality improvement has been seriously restricted,how to respond to which to improve their working quality has become the main to study the current school reform and coming development.It is the urgent to analyze on situation above and its causes to discuss its solution.Secondary vocational schools at county-level in Jiangsu Province are running in larger scale in general.In order for a better reputation,they all pay attention to the fit college entrance examination.Based on the teaching environment of county-level secondary vocational schools in Jiangsu Province and combining theory with practice,this thesis using the method of questionnaire and interview,take five schools as the research object.Through deep interview of 20 front-line teachers of different ages and genders to understand their vocational burnout performance and causes in the paper,which can be divided into two categories of working requirements and working resources based on JD-R model.Then,300 teachers were randomly sampled from 5 schools to be investigated with questionnaire.Through summary and analysis of data above,the situation of vocational burnout has been definitely as:1.Mild vocational burnout exists widely in secondary vocational schools at county-level in Jiangsu Province in the form of emotional exhaustion and low sense of personal achievement.2.Causes to vocational burnout above: teaching load,student management,school management,work-family conflict;causes of working resources to vocational burnout: career development,organizational support,working return and subjectivity.3.Difference of vocational burnout above is significant in age,the class sponsor or not,years of a class sponsor,the teaching course,hours of weekly teaching and the number of class students,but no significant difference in gender,department and educational history.Cause analysis on vocational burnout and its relief countermeasures:1.Each divisor of working requirements and work resources as the cause to vocational burnout is of obvious characteristic of population variable with significant difference in gender,department,the class sponsor or not,years of a class sponsor,the teaching course,hours of weekly teaching and the number of class students,which can be the basis for suggestion from the organizational level.2.Countermeasures: attention should be paid to teachers’ mental health,serve the reform of teaching system and reasonable teaching load. |
