Occupational burnout,resulted from individuals that are engaged in help professions but can not meet the requirements of the outside world,is a phenomenon of physical and mental exhaustion in terms of physiology,psychology,emotion and so on.In general,it is demonstrated mental exhaustion.In other words,they feel that their emotions are consumed out and become numb and indifferent towards communcication.Besides,they lack of personal sense of accomplishment and have difficulty to adapt to the outside word.Geographical teacher 's job burnout is based on the study of job burnout.Geography Teachers' professional burnout means that the geography teachers can not successfully cope with the pressure from the school,colleagues,family,students and geography teachers themselves in their daily work and work.Thus,a physiological,psychological and emotional exhaustion is formed among them.Occupational burnout performance mainly includes emotional exhaustion,personality disintegration,little sense of accomplishment.Researchers at home and abroad have proposed different model theories and scale tools to study teachers' job burnout.Maslach three-dimensional job burnout model theory is the most widely used,domestic researchers also use the Ma's job burnout Chinese version of the scale as a measurement tool.It mainly studies the relationship between job burnout and teacher's gender,marital status,physical health condition,teaching age,title,salary,being the headteacher or not,the number of class hours per week,and so on,mainly from the three aspects of emotional exhaustion,personality disintegration and personal accomplishment.And the influence of social support and work pressure on teachers' job burnout.Teachers' professional burnout have a bad effect on teachers' work,physical and mental health,and interpersonal communication.Teachers with misunderstanding of the job burnout will have less of enthusiasm to work and have negtive emotions,treat students coldly,and become alienated from students.Some,affected by the job burnout heavily,even want to get away from the position and consider to resign.As for physical and mental health,they suffer from insomnia,psychological pressure,weakness and become nervous and agitated easily.As a result,they have few interpersonal exchanges and do not want to participate in groupactivities,and ultimately lead to a predicament for their interpersonal relationship.The factors that affect teachers' burnout are teachers' personality and organization.Personality factor refers to the teacher 's own health condition,marital status,professional ability;organization include social factors,school factors and family factors,work stress and so on.In Hebei Province,the overall job burnout of the current junior middle school geography teachers is not very serious,but it has reached the level of moderate burnout.The relative degree of disintegration of personality is relatively high,followed by the degree of emotional exhaustion,and little sense of accomplishment is the slightest.Teachers try to improve their professional ability and adjust their own emotions reasonably.Schools build a reasonable management system,orgnize an effective training,strive to improve the social status of teachers and enhance the understanding and support of teachers' families.All of these are effective ways and strategies to ease job burnout.
