As an important part in the schoolmaster professional development, the current situation of the training of principles in middle and primary schools in North Jiangsu province allows of no optimist and the phenomenon of lacking substantial results is universally ubiquitous. There are both some macro-level factors and micro-level factors such as the policy, the system, the strategy, the model and the training content as well that are related to the reasons for this problem.Taking Huai'an as an example, this research tries to make some investigation and analysis of the training of principles in Middle and Primary schools by using literature review, questionnaire survey and personal inquiry in order to find the main problems and reasons of the training in this city. Based on the research, some measures and suggestions are given meanwhile as to improve the current situation of the training.This paper is composed of five major sections. The first chapter is the introduction part. The significance of the principal training is strengthened and the current situation and problems of the domestic training are put forward. Based on these analyses, the research questions in this paper are proposed. The second chapter, the basic status of the principals in middle and primary schools in Huai'an city are analyzed, including the natural condition, professional technology situation and training status. Chapter three, elaborate the developmental progression of principal training in Huai'an City. Chapter four, the entire analysis and research of the main problems from the questionnaire survey are made. It mainly states the investigation conditions of the training contents, the schoolmaster contingent and the participation of the training. Then the main problems from the questionnaire survey are summarized. They are as follows:the failing of the implementation of the policy, attachment programs are not in place; target group is in disunity and lacks directions; the levels of teaching staff can not meet the ever growing need of the principal training. We can not draw the conclusion on these problems if there were no concrete surveys. Therefore, I held an official inquiry this time. Chapter five, some measures and suggestions are put forward to improve the current situation of principal training, including bringing forth new ideas of the education training mechanism; optimizing training contents, prominent in ability construction; paying attention to the construction and practices of the training model; emphasizing the management of the training process in order to strengthen the effectiveness of the training; exerting net advantage, strengthening Internet training; strengthening the construction method of Teachers'team; paying adequate attention to system construction to provide powerful guarantee for the smooth progress of the training work. As an researcher and trainer, I felt the significance of the principal training deeply. We can conclude that the principal training is the key ingredient of the fast and sustainable development of the middle and primary schools. Take the North Jiangsu as an example, the principal training got a broad space for its development and the hidden value can not be ignored. Because it's prodigious potential to empolder, the researchers, academicians and practice men should work together for this valuable training.
