The exploration and utilization of art teaching resources is the new teaching ideal under the background of new curriculum reform.The significance and necessity of the exploration and utilization of art Curriculum resources can be known from four aspects. Firstly the new elementary education reform advocates and attaches importance to the teachers'involvement. Teachers may view the art curriculum resources from different angles of view and explore and make use of them to enrich their teaching activities. Secondly, the putting forward of post-modern curriculum theory makes modern education and teaching ideas change greatly. On the influence of views of post-modern curriculum, fine arts education all around the world focuses more attention on the connection with culture and society.Thirdly one of the goals of curriculum reform is to alter the complexity, difficulty, deflection and lack of originality to make the contents of the textbooks fit students'life and their learning experience. The curriculum reform of nine-year compulsory education reads,"the textbooks should be adapted to specific teaching context with maneuverability; the textbooks should be based on students'foundation, local resources and culture features; textbooks should be easy to teach and to learn; textbooks should be multiple to meet teachers and students in different regions."Fourthly under the background of world'pluralism, it is significant to protect traditional folk culture. Our traditional folk art is facing a difficult situation under the impact of the economic tide, so appropriate introduction of teaching resources of local folk art in class of high school is favorable to the passing on of traditional culture and helps to foster students' national confidence and pluralistic quality. Exploration and utilization of local art resources will become a remarkable spot in the art curriculum reform.Curriculum resources refer to the key elements to make a course come into being and essential and direct terms to implement the course. The concept of " curriculum resources " can be interpreted from broad sense and narrow sense. In broad sense curriculum resources refer to various factors that help to realize the goal of the course, for instance, knowledge of ecological environment, humane tradition, Internet and teachers'knowledge, etc; In narrow sense curriculum resources refer to the direct factors that form a course, for instance, textbooks, discipline knowledge, etc. According to space distribution, curriculum resources can be divided into in-school resources and out-of-school resources. Traditional exploration and utilization of curriculum resources focuses on in-school resources while out-of-school resources are ignored. In the new elementary curriculum reform, we should realize the value of out-of-school resources while teaching, and explore and utilize local out-of-school curriculum resources to realize the goal of new curriculum reform.New curriculum standard of high school advocates a new concept, that is, to utilize and develop the internal and external art curriculum resources, to increase the diversification of the course, to widen students' visual field in art and pay attention to students' learning methods and to improve their arts accomplishment.The local art curriculum resources are the outcome that the local people accumulated for a long time with deep cultural information. It adapts to the local folklore and customs with certain uniqueness. Local students understand local resources deeply and accept them with facility, so it is feasible to explore local resources and carry on art teaching. The value of exploration and utilization of local art resources lies in: (1) Help to improve the adaptability of art curriculum, paying close attention to all the students and promoting students' individuality; (2) Help to promote the sense of participation of art teachers and bring about an advance in the art teachers' profession; (3) Help to be combined with students' reality, stimulate students' interest in art and foster students' initiative spirit and practice ability; (4)Help students to learn comprehensively and internalize knowledge; (5)Help students to express their sensibility in art activities, strengthen self-confidence, promote interpersonal communication, relieve psychological pressure and form the healthy body and mind. Local art curriculum resources are relatively wide-ranged, but not all-embracing. Only those with significance of educational and art curriculum can be explored and utilized. Certain mechanism and principles should be followed in order to explore and utilize local art curriculum resources.The filter mechanism American curriculum expert Taylor put forward is of great reference to the option and utilization of art curriculum resources. It is important to distinguish the local art curriculum resources before they are used in the class. Effective development and utilization of local art curriculum resources can improve the inherent quality of rural art teaching in middle school and expand teachers' teaching space, attaining the teaching goal.In the course of the study, the author excavate the local art curriculum resources of Jiaozhou in Shandong Province to widen the space of teaching and to offer background for learning according to the actual conditions of art teaching of high school. With the help of multimedia courseware, the relevant contents of the textbooks are combined with local reality, turning abstractness into visual image and static state into the trends, shortening the sensory distance of learning contents. Sanlihe site of ancient culture in Jiaozhou has already been sanctioned as national historic reservation, Jiaozhou Yangge and Jiaozhou Maoqiang as the first batch of non-materials cultural heritage protecting project by central government.In teaching, the author designed"knock the door of pottery lightly"and"impression of Jiaozhou Yangge", in which local art curriculum resources and the materials of the textbook were combined and the ideal of New Standard Curriculum had found its way. At the same time students'manipulative ability was improved; their national sense of pride and love for the hometown was boosted and the goal of teaching was attained.New Standard Curriculum of art of high school embodies the open characteristics of art course and will pay more attention to the exploration and utilization of art curriculum resources. Teachers'involvement in the exploration of art curriculum is affected by such factors as teachers'attitude, role change, professional skill and theoretical guide, the exploration and utilization of local art curriculum resources will reveal its essentiality and necessity to the new curriculum reform.
