Job burnout is regarded as an occupation disease of modern society, which occurs in the career that helps others. Teachers'job burnout has caused a wide focus from the whole international society, because the negative action which caused by job burnout is increasing. This phenomenon also widely exists among the vocational school of our country. Under the present background of the vigorous curriculum reform and the more focus on teachers'growing from both the domestic and foreign countries, we research the actuality of Yantai professional school teachers'job burnout, and its relation with self social values, and achievement motivation. We want to seek for the probable effective intervention to teacher professional tiredness, offer experiences and inspirations to prevent and allay the professional tiredness of vocational schools, and offer reference for the later correct intervention action.We studied the relationship between teachers'job burnout and work values, achievement motivation by researching four vocational school of Yantai, with job burnout questionnaire in primary and secondary teachers, which was revised by Yan Xu etc based on MBI-ES in 2004, work values questionnaire that was compiled by Tiexiong Wu etc in 1994, achievement motivation questionnaire that was revised by Renmin Ye and Hagtvet in 1998, which was compiled by T.Gjesme and R.Nygard of Norway psychologist in1970. Participants answer the questionnaire with anonymity. We withdrew 304 questionnaires, and 286 questionnaires are available. After analyzing the data we got through SPSS11.5 statistic software, we found that:⑴The level of vocational school teachers'professional tiredness is high on the three latitudes of emotional exhaustion, inhumanness and cognition drought, whereas low at the latitude of self achievability.⑵The vocational school teachers get a high score on work values and achievability. In the field of work values, the score of instrumental values is higher than the score of terminal values.⑶The teacher professional tiredness has a obvious negative relative with the achievability on the three latitudes of emotional exhaustion, inhumanness and cognition drought, i.e. the higher the achievability, the lower the tiredness level of the three latitudes. At the latitude of self achievability exists obvious positive relative, that is, the higher the achievability, the lower the level of the tiredness.⑷We analyze seven latitudes of achievability and values, the demographic variable, the courses, the departments , the school types and each latitude of teacher professional tiredness, and find out that the employing drought level of teachers who teach music, physical, and art is lower than that of the teachers who teach Chinese and foreign language; the higher the teacher's professional title, the lower the self achievability, and the higher the tiredness level.
