Mathematics Teaching Critical Thinking And Trial And Error

This thesis mostly studies the mathematics critical thinking and its teaching. First of all, On the basis of existing critical thinking theory, the author starts with the existing teaching state and the specific feature of mathematics, analyzing the structure, the characteristics and influential factors of mathematics critical thinking, then, illustrates the relationship between it and creative thinking, and points out the educational value of mathematics critical thinking and its importance. Secondly, it answers how to develop mathematics critical thinking. Through the research on"trial and error teaching"and the illustration of mathematic teaching cases, the author finds out that"trial and error teaching"is an efficient access to develop mathematics critical thinking. Lastly, the following are the four main parts of the whole thesis.1. The Significance of Researching Critical ThinkingThe history of human's science and technology is filled with criticism; there is no human being's critical thinking, there are no the progress of science, the survival of individuals, the mathematics couldn't develop either.2. The Relationship of Critical Thinking and Creative Ability.The all-round education requests students to innovate. And the three stages of the innovation———preparing stage, creating stage and completing stage are all closely related to critical thinking, so critical thinking is necessary to creative capabilities.3. The Educational Function of Mathematics Critical Thinking.Mathematics critical thinking is helpful for students to raise questions and at the same time enhance their capability of solving questions. Furthermore, training the students'mathematics critical thinking can make them understand the mathematic conception deeply and enrich their clues when they solve the problems. Meanwhile, by developing critical thinking, the students can master the methods of dealing with the problems proficiently and enhance other abilities of thinking.4. The Research on"Trial and Error Teaching"According to the E.L.Thorndike's"trial and error"learning theory, this paper brings forward the model and strategy of"trial and error teaching", then by analyzing the cases it testifies the"trial and error teaching"an efficient way to train the mathematics critical thinking .The last but not the least, this paper introduces the present difficulties which the mathematics critical thinking is facing. However, these are just the urgent issues we have to research in future.
