To improve people's mental quality is the development of the times and society, subjects' infiltration is one of the main ways of mental health education. Mental health education in writing teaching in high school is available as well as necessary. Current high school students have many mental health problems, the main ones are: rabidity of thinking, escapism, unable to face himself, lack of psychological tolerance, unable to face setbacks and so on, their reasons are social influence, family and personal factors, and some schools, writing teaching factors. As language teachers, we should reflect our teaching, research teaching targets seriously, and research the advantages, principles, and conditions of mental health education in the teaching of writing. Complete the task in teaching, and at the same time train students to achieve the ultimate goal of a unified personality of truth, goodness, and beauty by putting mental health education into reading guide, proposition, evaluation and other parts of writing teaching.
