| As the times progress and society advances, males teaching infants, toddlers, preschools, kindergartners, or even premary grades 1-3 have been a rare occurrence in our early childhood classrooms. As traditional gender practices are questioned more and more within professional circles, the virtual absence of men is worth exploring. Faced in pre-school education remains teacher gender-skewed, many researchers think it is necessary to add male teachers in this field. But, much of the debate about the gender imbalance in pre-school education profession has been limited by a reliance on rhetoric rather than empirical evidence both here and abroad. What's the real situation about male teachers in kindergartners? The author want to adopt Empirical research study about this worthing problem. The purpose of this paper is to find some empirical evidences about male teachers in pre-school education by many methods. In this paper, the author made use of quallitative research—case study, through long-term and on-site inspection of male teacher from kindergarten. The author found the behavior of male teacher who was observed don't be satisfactional. This paper also made use of quantitative study and statisticed the practicality of some affectting factors with male teachers in pre-school education. The author consider young child age, wage income, group identify, etc, which will affact male teachers who don't want to work in pre-school education. This paper throung abroad document analysis think that the custom and traditioon of many pepole will affact male teachers to work in pre-school education. About childen gender identify the paper don't find any strong evidences. |
