X Normal School of Yunnan Province provides a case of cultivating male kindergarten teachers for their training.There is no doubt that male teachers are needed in the Kindergarten.But the proportion of male teachers in Kindergarten is always so low.That can be blamed on the public pressure,low income,little occupational identity,low numbers and high churn rate,and so on.In fact,the situation of male teachers training has been highlighted.X Normal School of Yunnan Province try to find a new and suitable mode of male teachers training.Because there are so many troubles in the male kindergarten teachers' cultivating in X Normal School of Yunnan Province,such as blurry train target,few enroll restrictions,passive selection,low numbers,unfavorable curriculum,unpleasant tests and so on.In the autumn of 2016,this school established the Boys Class in the major of preschool education.There are many factors been considered,such as training objective,curriculum,teachers,assessments and class management.Seen from the reality of trying for a year,the Boys Class is good for boys' achievements,special courses,examination and the activities of playing games.But there are still some disadvantages: the students are just male,it's difficulty to implement the target of male teachers “androgyny education”,and so on.The essay is divided into four parts: research question will be raised in Part One,pointing out the background,purpose and significance of this study,and defining relevant concepts.The research ideas and methods will be confirmed on the basis of the relevant research.In Part Two,it shows past dilemma about training male students in preschool education major in this School and the reasons.In Part Three,it introduces the journey of foundation of the Boys Class in the major of preschool education in this school.In the end,it sums up the experience,problems and thinking of the reforming in the major of preschool education in X Normal School.
