With the development of Educational Informationization and new curriculum reform, the teachers' educational technology ability becomes an important component of their professional ability. In December 2004, the Ministry of Education issued The Educational Technology Ability Standards for Primary and Secondary School Teachers (Advance Copy), which further defined the professional ability request of educational technology and provided an important basis for further carrying out educational technology training for primary and secondary school teachers and promoting teacher professional development.Although various educational technology trainings have some effects, we come in sight of the shortage of primary and secondary school teachers' educational technology application ability and find a great deal of existent problems in the former trainings, especially the problems of the training methods and training modes, which is the important factor confining training effect. The dissertation aims at exploring the methods of improving training quality from the angle of training method and mode.Participatory Teacher Educational Technology Training is a kind of training activity in order to promote teacher professional development by various participatory methods, carrying out effective participation of teacher in whole training process. Through analyzing the present condition of educational technology training for primary and secondary school teachers, the dissertation discovers some problems in the current trainings, analyses the reasons for these problems and points out that Participatory Training is the valid path which improves the teachers' educational technology ability combining practicing of the author. Through a series of the science research methods, document investigation and questionnaire...etc., relying on existing condition of research and experiment, the author analysed the theories foundation of Participatory Training and tallies up its fulfillment experience, then analysed the need analysis, the choosing of training method, the designing and the organization of the training process in Participatory Teacher Educational Technology Training. On this foundation, combining training teaching material, the author designed a scientific and viable Participatory Training mode in educational technology training for primary and secondary school teachers, providing a reference for later educational technology training work.
