My dissertation is mainly to explore the teaching method of the drawing ability with painting pencils by five to six year old children. This is a cooperating study of children's activity, with me the researcher, middle shift teacher in a kindergarten, children in this middle shift and the study group members taking part in it. Our studying methods include literature method, interview method, observation method, practicality collection method, etc.Though the reflection, literature pectination and theoretical analysis of the three mistakes of drawing skills education, I put forward the fact that children have interest in and desire for drawing skills education and they need technical support in conducting art creation. Therefore, teachers should give them support and guidance for their development in drawing skills. Based on studies by former researchers and the concept of "constructing bridge" project, this study explores the teaching method of the drawing ability with painting pencils by five to six year old children. Knowing children's recent development of drawing skills, this research starts with the possibility of children's exploration of painting-pencil drawing material and designs activities for the three corresponding stages according to children's interest and need for drawing ability with painting pencils, that is, exploring material stage, from-skill-to-subject stage and from-subject-to-skill stage. Through constant refection for and practice in the ten-time activities, we guide children to improve drawing ability with painting pencils in the process of exploration and adaptation and to develop children's self-representation ability.Eventually it's time for a conclusion and reflection of this study. The development of children's drawing skills requires opportunity of exploring learning and chances of creative expression. Their development in drawing skills needs teachers' support and guidance. In addition, teachers should improve their professional attainment which is fairly beneficial to the development of children's skills. The reflection part is mainly an analysis of shortcomings in the process of researching.
