Since 1960s, many scholars (both in China and abroad) have done some research on the emotional education. Emotional factor is one of the main factors that affect middle school chemistry teaching effect. In order to understand the present situation of the emotional education in the chemistry teaching of the middle school, in the northern of Jiangsu area. The author passes to check forms, such as data and questionnaire etc. to compose a thesis.On the one hand this thesis tries to make use of emotional factor from the sex, school property, chemistry result, stayed without parents and location latitudes, etc. to have a restricted view for the emotional character(incline to the chemistry academics) of the middle-school students And recognization of the middle- school students about the application of emotional factor on chemistry teaching ;On the other hand to investigate chemistry teachers to carry on the emotional factor on their chemistry teaching and their way of chemisty teaching.The inquisition expresses:1.There is a notable difference of the emotional characters (incline to the chemistry academics) between the middle-school students in the northern Jiangsu area ,the same difference exist on the recognization of the middle- school students about the application of emotional factor on chemistry teaching;2.The present condition of the usage emotional factor in the chemistry teaching of the Middle-school chemistry teachers: There still exists the phenomenon of "Thought about the knowledge is important and the emotion is unimportant".They think it is important,but no some actions;3.The middle-school students expect that chemistry subject is the companion with many vivid experiences and interesting course.We hope more chemistry teachers pay attention to the emotional factor in chemistry teaching of the middle school through the inquisition. This inquisition research can provide the first data to carry on the emotional factor in the chemistry teaching afterwards. At the same time, this inquisition research can provide the correlative data for the practice of chemistry teaching in Higher Teacher-training Education.
