Emotional education is one of the hot topics in the fields educational theories and their practice after Quality-oriented education prevails in schools. Emotional education is part of educational process. It concerns about students' attitude, emotion, mood and belief during educational process in order to promote harmonious development of every student as well as healthy development of society. Emotional education is to activate positive emotion between students and teachers during emotional activities to help students feel various of emotions and happiness of learning. Emotional education not only focus on educational process, relations between students as well as students and teachers, classroom and campus atmosphere, but also pay attention to results, students' skills, preference and behavior. Emotional education is creative, flexible and interesting. The thesis consists of five chapters:In Chapter 1, firstly, the background, purpose and significance of the present study were expressed. Then studies on emotional education at home and abroad were introduced in literature review. Finally. The problem in the present study were analyzed and explained. At the same time, data analysis were presented after questionnaire and interview. Results were analyzed and explained in the chapter concerned.In Chapter 2, the concepts of emotion and emotional education were presented. The characteristics and contents of emotional education were clarified. In Chapter 3, emotional factors in politics class were analyzed.In Chapter 4, current situations and causes of emotional education in Politics class of Baiyin No.1 High School were analyzed.In Chapter 5, strategies on carrying out emotional education in Politics class of Baiyin No.1 High School were discussed. It calls for Being clear about the teaching aims and transferring educational ideas of teachers. Teachers should (1) devote attention to students' emotion learning, developing students' emotion with understanding; (2) create emotional atmosphere, developing students' emotion with contexts; (3) employ the relation between teachers and students, developing students' emotion with teachers' emotion; (4) make good use of powerful images and cases in literature, developing students' emotion with beauty. "Noting but emotion can touch a heart" Every politics teacher should use and emphasize the strategies of the emotional education in his teaching.
