Open Education is a term in contrast with the term "Closed Education ". Open Education is not only a form of education, but also is a thought of educational philosophy. And it provides favorable learning conditions and learning environment that are multidimensional and free of time and space restrictions for all with desire to learn by taking full advantage of education resources in the society, modern educational technology and elastic management and support services. The role and status of teachers in Open Education has changed noticeably comparing with the traditional teaching. So we need to take it into thorough research. But in all sorts of the reaches, people pay more attention to developing multimedia teaching resources for these teaches, and on the other hand people have neglected that these teachers are teaching resources themselves, and are the most important ones. In fact, with the subjective initiative, these teachers not only develop other resources but also achieve self-development, that is, teachers can "broadcast" their own knowledge and skills to the students.This paper is aimed at the open education teachers in self-development strategy and hope to achieve some progress and support some suggestion for the open education teachers.In the process of writing, the author combines the experience that the university where he work has accumulated since they participated in the above-mentioned CRTVU Project six years ago, carries out the practical work in his university's Open Education, conducts investigation and research deeply, analyzes comprehensively, and completes this dissertation ultimately.
