Since 1950s, with the development of Tibet, education has become one of the most important jobs for Tibet's peace and stabilization. For Tibet's modern education starting relatively late, comparing with other areas, the speed of education development is slower and the level is lower. Thus, aiding Tibet through education has become a key part of collaborate aiding Tibet, and faculties aiding Tibet has also become the main content. For over fifty years, nearly thousands of teachers have been to Tibet to do research and teach. They have been making great contribution for education development and improvement of Tibet. Because most of faculties are coming form schools of inland, comparing with Tibet, there is great differences in altitude, climate, custom, students' making, and so on. Then, it is very difficult for these faculties to adapt themselves to the environment. How to shorten the period that faculties adapt to Tibet's life becomes the problem they concern, and studiers, researchers also concern very much for faculties participating in educational aid programs for Tibet effectively.This paper is based on real material from investigation and invitation, plenty of reference books and theories of education, educational ecology, educational sociology, psychology and so on. It analyzes everyday life, work, study, social intercourse of faculties aiding Tibet. It sums up the main problems such as natural environment, the knowledge of role before getting to Tibet, changes of educational objects and so on, in adapting faculties aiding Tibet to environment and gives some direct and doable suggestions. The whole article is made up of four parts -- foreword, text, tag, and reference books. The text has four parts:The first part: definite the relative concepts of adapting faculties aiding Tibet to the environment. The definition of faculties aiding Tibet and the concept of adapting to environment are two core ones.The second part: It analyzes the essentiality of adapting faculties aiding Tibet to the environment. It mainly analyzes three aspects, socialization of teacher's career, policy of aiding Tibet through education, and the development of Tibet's higher education.The third part: It concludes the main problems of adapting faculties aiding Tibet to environment. It contains natural environment, the knowledge of role before getting to Tibet, changes of educational objects, laggard teaching condition, and faculties' work, consensus, social expectation, working cycle.The forth part: It gives approaches to adapting faculties aiding Tibet to the environment. First, analyzes the theory of strategies; second, it points the policy of aiding Tibet through education should be founded and improved; last, it proposes the methods of training, improving working places, doing propaganda well, providing psychological assistant.The deficiency of this paper is that because of the limit of time founds and personal capacity, it can't give them comprehension deeply, especially the faculties aiding Tibet who had returned inland. So we should go a step further to discuss the depth and breadth of this paper.
