With the implementing of the reform of New Curriculum Standard, the value of the saying"Education is for humanness, and teaching is humanness"is regarded again. The concept of the saying"All is for the development of every student"appears thick humanistic color. Under this concept, how to attach importance to human, and how to take on the task of cultivating students'humanness, embodying humanistic solicitude, and setting great ideal of humanness by class teaching, has become a task of theoretical research and teaching practice, obviously, politics teaching in middle school is in the task. This thesis based on the concept of New Curriculum Standard starts with educational angles, and explores the cultivation of students'humanistic quality in politics class in middle school.Politics is an elementary course that takes on the function of education for humanistic quality. The content of humanistic quality should represent"morality education as the jumping-off point, figuration of personality as the tenet, requirement of society as the yardstick", and substantiate the education of personality, morality, life and affection, then help students set great ideal of humanness and develop roundly in politics teaching.There are some problems in politics teaching in middle school, such as the lose of humanness, defects in teaching, dimming of humanness in teaching,"Pan-politics"in teaching, and singleness of teaching evaluation, the write makes some research on how to cultivate the humanistic quality in class teaching. Aiming at these problems, the writer makes some studies for exerting the advantages of politics course, cultivating the humanness in class teaching. Detailed researches are as follows: firstly, making class teaching as the primary way to cultivate students'humanistic quality. As an educator, politics teacher must study the text intensively to find the cut-in point of humanistic spirit, change their teaching methods, instruct students to change their learning mode, and create free and democratic learning circumstance for students. Secondly, making extracurricular activities as the accessorial way to cultivate students'humanistic quality. This part includes the practice for context, stimulant practice for extracurricular activity and the practice for investigative learning. Thirdly, having the integrative lesson based on the politics textbooks and developing more recessive teaching materials, widening students'eyeshot, making humanistic spirit more life ness. Fourthly, perfecting evaluative mode to assure the implementing of humanistic spirit. Fifthly, improving teachers'humanistic quality. Politics teacher should set the educational theory of"people oriented"and build scientific framework of knowledge to become a learning-like educator. Teachers should strengthen pedagogic culture and upgrade scientific spirit to fulfill the unification of politics teaching and humanistic education.
