In the traditional classical poetry teaching, the teacher often replaces student's reading understanding by his own reading understanding. He places greater emphasis on analysis and explanation and less emphasis on connoisseurship; greater emphasis on knowledge instruction and less emphasis on sentiment influences. What is worse, he may paste a label to each detail of the poetry, searching for their similarities and overlooking their differences. This not only makes it difficult for students to comprehend the esthetic sense, but also strangles the student the individuality. In view of these problems, this article explores the similarities between the"summoning structure"in the western theory of acception esthetics and the structure of classical poetry, attempting to combine the"summoning structure"with the practice of classical poetry teaching, and seeking to make better the ways and patterns of classical poetry teaching.According to the theory of the"summoning structure", in literary works there exists blank and uncertainty in significance. This kind of blank and the uncertainty forms formidable summoning attraction for readers to unscramble. The reader may, depending on his own"vision of anticipation", imagine, ponder and fill out"the significance blank"and"the significance uncertainty"of the literary work, seek to communicate with the author, to understand the author's mind, and even to obtain a different and individual standing and mastery of the works. This characteristic of summoning in literary works has the important enlightenment to middle school classical poetry teaching. This is because the artistic conception of the poetry is an open, dynamic"summoning structure", and has a lot of"blanks"and"uncertain points", for the reader to fill out. By means of such skills as fitting together the emotions and the scenes, the real and the unreal, it creates a implicit and profound artistic conception, sends out to the reader"a direct invitation to seek the lost",causes him to fall into deep thoughts. It can be said that the artistic conception of classical poetry is a kind of summoning structure. This gives us such an inspiration: in classical poetry teaching, we should pay attention to student's function as the object of teaching, teach creatively, and make the student poetry connoisseurs. At the same time, we must combine teaching with life, let the students make full use of their own experience of life in order to completely understand the works and thus realize the significance of the poetry.To help students be devoted to the artistic conception of classical poetry, appreciate author's emotion, thoughts and esthetic appeal, enrich their own emotional world, and consummate their personality, the teacher must grasp the feature of the summoning structure in classical poetry and explore effective teaching ways and patterns. The teacher should, on the basis of abandoning the traditional explanatory way of teaching, make efforts to construct new patterns of classroom instruction.First, the teacher should place an emphasis on recitation and conjecture, guide the student in overall sensation of the esthetic object; second, starting from the poetry blank, fully mobilize students' association of ideas and imagination, guide the student in holding the blank, fill out the blank, and thus forming their own individual understanding. In this process, the teacher must give the connoisseurship initiative to the students, make them master of the class, let them understand with their own emotion, imagine with their own mind, and freely stretche their own mind, and create a new self in the interaction of mind with the author. In order for the students to quickly enter into the poetic conception and be stimulated in emotion, the teacher should, according to the emotional and euphemistic characteristic of poetry, actively establish teaching situation and build an emotional atmosphere to summon and attract the students to enter into the world of the poetry, to sympathize with the works and thus create a strong resonance.In addition, it's far from enough just to depend on dozens of classical poems in classroom teaching for develop students' view of anticipation. It's also necessary to guide students in after-class reading to enrich their knowledge and expand their view. Also, it is important to combine poetry teaching with teaching of writing. The teacher can ask the students to write some after-reading comments or even to write some simple ancient poems or just some essays conveying an artistic conception of the ancient poetry.In brief, in ancient poetry teaching, the teacher must master the summoning characteristic of classical poetry, regard the students as the master of the class, encourage them to devote into the unscrambling of the classical poetry, fully mobilize students'life experience, and guide them to experience the rich connotation of the words. In this way, in the process of communication and interaction with the author, the students will realize the profound meaning of the words, understand themselves as well as the poet, and thus acquire an esthetic image and life apperception.
