Self-concept, Coping Style, Anxiety University Graduates In Career Decision-making Difficult

According to the related theories and researches, Self-concept plays an important role in the process of career decision-making, and both Coping style and Anxiety have an effect on the solving of career decision-making difficulties. Basing on the situation analysis of the undergraduates, the thesis makes a study of the effect upon the difficulties of career decision-making, which is from Self-concept, Coping Style and Anxiety.The study adopts the method of stratified random sampling, and finish the questionnaire investigation of 750 juniors and seniors from 5 colleges in Shi Jiazhuang of China, by means of CDDQ with Chinese version, TianNaxi Self-concept scale, Coping Style questionnaire, State-Trait Anxiety scale and a self-made questionnaire about the investigation of the difficulty situation of the undergraduates' career decision-making. And the results are listed as follows:(1) the conclusions of CDDQ's tryout accord with MR LIU 's conclusions, and this can show that CDDQ emended by Liu Changjiang can be used in the research.(2) The undergraduates who don't work out the career decision-making are in the majority from the total university students .(3) The hesitating factor of career decision-making from the schoolboys and schoolgirls is remarkable different(p<0.05), and the phenomena of the hesitating decision-making happening to the schoolboys is less then the schoolgirls; The juniors take the higher difficulty level of career decision-making than the seniors, because of the lack of the information about self, occupations and the ways of obtaining the additional information, and the score of the scale of career decision-making difficulties ; The internal conflicts of the arts students are more than the science students, when they ware working for career decision-making.(4) All these including Self-concept, Coping style of fantasy and solving, and State-Trait Anxiety has the forecast function for career decision-making difficulties, and Self-concept could make an effect on career decision-making difficulties by impacting Coping style of solving, Coping style of fantasy, and State-Trait Anxiety . furthermore, Self-concept could make an effect on career decision-making difficulties by impacting Trait Anxiety which could be affected by Coping style.
