Our times call for innovation while the education plays an important role in the innovation. Developing the students with the consciousness of problem is a foundation of the development of the creative thought and scientific spirit. With the deep limitation of the tradition education ideas and the teaching mode in the history teaching in the Junior Middle School, the teachers only concern about how to teach the students to solve the history problems, but ignore how to create the teaching scenarios and environment to develop the students consciousness and ability of finding and raising problems, therefore the problem consciousness and innovative. Spirit of students was lacking badly. Form discussing the connotation of the problem consciousness as well as on the base of other researches this paper discussed the teaching strategies and method system of students' problem consciousness, in order to offer some beneficial ideas and methods for the history teaching reformation in the present Junior Middle School.In the introduction, the value of this text was expatiated mainly. This paper was disparted into two sections. In the first section, the meaning of problem, consciousness and problem consciousness was defineted clearly. It also presented the theory background of this paper from the point of view of philosophy, pedagcogy, psychology, teaching theory and history.Analyzing the presented researches both abroad and domestic this paper elaborate the practical meaning of developing students' problem consciousness.In the second section, through the questionnaire among the students, it was proved the existence that students were lack of problem consciousness. On the base of this, standing on the history teaching in Junior Middle School and combining with the theory and the practical teaching case, the paper put forward the teaching strategies of developing students' problem consciousness: constructing the cognitive basic of problem consciousness of students; widening the problem field of students; concentrating on the construction of campus culture.Finally, the conclusion and prospect of this paper were presented.
